If you’re in around the London area this weekend then pop into The Gallery at the Ministry of Sound this Friday as they have Simon Patterson and Orjan Nilsen headlining the main room. For a taste of what to expect tune into The Gallery's weekly podcast as they have both dishing out the tunes this week...
This Friday both SIMON PATTERSON & ORJAN NILSEN play The Gallery, in fact the first time both have appeared on the same Ministry of Sound bill. A night for those with a penchant for tougher sounds, this week’s edition of The Gallery Podcast fulfils a harder edged remit! Simon’s section features an interview on new label compilation ‘VII,’ followed by three tracks from his specific mix CD. Orjan then speaks about the concept behind new track ‘What A Rush,’ which is followed by a thirty minute guest mix to end proceedings. Hence giving an overall flavour for Friday night at the club.

Orjan Nilsen
Not to be outdone, a new belter from Orjan has potential for that all important ‘Tune Of The Night’ accolade. Released on own label ‘In My Opinion,’ it epitomises the dark and turbulent sound on which Nilsen made his name. Friday will be the first time Orjan has played the track live at Ministry – a test even for the club’s behemoth stack of speakers!
