New remixes of the famous 'Mockmoon' to bring it up to date with the harder edged side of Trance which is currently hitting the clubs
Released mid April, 2002 remixes of the 1998 classic 'Mockmoon' are now available. The new remixes are available on the 'Go For It'label, featuring the following tracks:
A1: Mockmoon (Erik Vee Remix) B1: Mockmoon (Rave Allstars Remix)
A1: Mockmoon (Erik Vee Remix) Erik Vee's mix starts of with the mockmoon vocals before the main beat pounds it's way in. There's a really nice hard edge to this remix. The tracks soon builds up and comes together to form the familiar but up to date sound of 'Mockmoon'. There's the very nice breakdown featuring the spacey melody, together played with the vocals before the hard beat comes back in sounds superb. Overall, an excellent remix sure to get plays from the popular Hard Trance Names.
B1: Mockmoon (Rave Allstars Remix) This remix starts a little different and pace is a lot quicker giving us with a faster more energetic thriving remix. The awesome repeating reverbing synth sound at the start is very powerful and adds that something extra to this powerful production. The vocals don't come into play until a couple of minutes into the track and play during the breakdowns rather then at the start of the track like the other remix. "There is peace, love... and there was Ecstasy"... and the there's the awesome overwhelming synths combined with pumping hard beats to give us an amazing remix indeed!
Conclusion
These new remixes really are excellent and I highly recommend you check them out if you like the harder style which is popular with such names as Marco V and Cosmic Gate.
