Les Hemstock, Chris Jennings, Matt Hardwick, 3 names that are behind this project, resulting in a production which surpasses a lot of other productions.
Les Hemstock & Chris Jennings are better know as Hemstock & Jennings, who had a massive hit with Mirage (Of Hope), and their latest release East & Central under their H2J alias. With the input of Gatecrasher resident Matt Hardwick, they have made a record which has quality written all over it.
A: Agnelli & Nelson Remix AA: Original
AA: Original. I’m going to start by reviewing the B-Side, because this contains the original mix, and not a remix.
Starting off quite hard, nice beat, some drums, and more. A lot of different layers from the start, each one working on the other one. A minute into the song, you start to hear the melody, escorted by spacey female vocals. Breakdown in the track consists of the melody and some layers, and after that, the whole melody, beats, layers, and drums start again. This is a real dance-floor killer, already heavily hammered by John ‘00’ Fleming, in his most recent Essential Mix, and featured on his latest compilation: White Label Euphoria.
This is one of the tunes that is set to be big. Uplifting, but with a touch of hard-trance in it.
AA: Agnelli & Nelson Remix . This remix loses a lot of the original feelings from the Original. It lacks power, it doesn’t have that special feel to it when you listen to the Original. It keeps the melody, but somewhat altered. In my opinion, this remix doesn’t fit the name, afterall, it’s Agnelli & Nelson, you’d expect more from them. They didn’t put their ‘touch’ on it.
Overall: The Original is the reason why you will buy this, not the Agnelli & Nelson Remix. But still, this is another great release on John '00' Fleming's label.
