You can enjoy the company of Markus Schulz from start to finish this Friday at The Ministry of Sound’s Gallery night as he takes control of the box for his first open to close set of 2020…
This Friday’s FIRST LONDON SHOW OF 2020 is also an inaugural OPEN TILL CLOSE performance of the year for MARKUS SCHULZ. The Gallery faithful always welcome Markus with great anticipation, especially in such a scenario where he delivers that first beat to the very last. Also with our beloved international resident holding a proud affinity with London and The Gallery itself, this sentiment adds a magical aura which is unique to Ministry of Sound. After all Markus was a clubber on The Gallery dance floor when moving to London, not forgetting his studio on Coldharbour Lane (Brixton) on which the record label was inspired. The #SchulzArmy should expect new tunes from ‘Coldharbour Black’ to initiate the customary ‘rabbit hole’ proceedings.
OPEN TILL CLOSE PODCAST
Friday’s Ministry of Sound gig dictates that Markus curates this week’s edition of The Gallery Podcast. Listen to five tracks especially selected to demonstrate the musical progression of his open to close performance, a separate thirty minute guest-mix and world exclusive interview based on the theme of LONDON!
VIDEO - MARKUS SCHULZ
Filmed at last year’s ‘open till close’ edition of The Gallery, this is what happens when Schulz gradually increases the intensity of proceedings – whipping up the energy levels into a harder and darker state. Arguably there is no scene greater in club land than Markus Schulz commanding The Box at Ministry Of Sound.
