G. Dewar and N. Hale, also known as 'Tenth Planet', have produced yet another mind-blowing track. After their massive hit 'Ghosts', which has been remixed by great producers such as Vincent de Moor and Jon Doe, their new track 'Walk On Water', released on the Conception and Insolent labels, sees the light.
Yet another mind-blowing tune from Conception UK
Clare Pearce, one-third of Tenth Planet, has performed the vocals on this tune. The vocals have been co-written by Emma Finch Turner, better known as 'Dreamcatcher'. Here are the lyrics of the Original Mix:
Breathless I wait, and I surrender to this day, feeling rush over me, I can´t escape, and we´re drowning, here now, faith.
You run to me, coloured by this fantasy, felt the rush through my veins, I cannot breath, and we´re drowning, what we need.
You see what dreams make up, you´ve touched the depths of my soul, feel like I could walk on water. (x4)
Awake and on, rising like the sun, to fall, felt the shine through my body, and my soul, don´t let me drown for what I know.
You run to me, coloured by this fantasy, felt the rush through my veins, I cannot breath, and we´re drowning, what we need.
You see what dreams make up, you´ve touched the depths of my soul, feel like I could walk on water. (x4)
A1. Original Mix
This uplifting, melodic mix starts of with a steady beat. After about a minute, a warm and mellow bass comes in. After this part, the hats go away and it's just kicks and bass. Now the vocals come in (just like in Ghosts). After a nice and warm buildup, the main synth comes in. The melody in combination with the vocals give me chills all over my spine. This mix has an amazing exploding climax. After this, it's back to kicks, bass and vocals again. Tenth Planet uses the same build-up as their track Ghosts. This is 09:38 minutes of pure melodic pleasure. This one gets a 7.5/10 from me.
B1. Barraka Mix
This suits my tastes. It's a really progressive mix. It starts with nice, driving stabs. The vocals have been filtered very nice in this track. When the beat comes in, the rythm is fantastic! This is progressive trance at it's best. The vocals in this track are a little bit different. A background chorus has been added. After a beautiful break, all parts of this great mix are put toghether in a thrilling climax. The percussion is great. This is one of my favourite tracks at the moment. I rate this one 8.5/10.
Yet another great piece of these great producers. Be sure to check this one out, especially the Barakka Mix if you are into progressive trance. Hopefully we can hear more of Dewar & Hale soon!
