What better way top start a set with the emotive sound produced by Jade. A nice soft edge with the distinct sound of rain drops and thunder to cushion to synths and start the set rolling.
The ever building layers increase with the sound of the bassline, peaking to drop to a cool deep flowing tribal sound. The track hits the first break, leaving you in aspiration of what the rest of the set is going to hold. The set can go deep and tribal or soft and melodic.
As we enter the first mix, 'mission incomplete' joins the bassline. The bassline and mid of the Jade track disappears to leave 'half beats' on the weekend world. A quick shuffle on the high hats leaves room for 'mission incomplete to take full control. It rolls through encountering a true weekend world trademark style. The introduction of a vocoded vocal edges the track to another level. Maintaining the chugging tribal edge with light drums, the track breaks, increasing the tension produced, speeding up the vocal to leave a quality sounding "fast forward" effect. A pause in sound paves the way for the bassline to be reintroduced.
The distinct sound of 'Burnin up' enters the fray providing more of a forceful approach.
Seeing out mission incomplete, burnin up displays its tell-tale build to provide an ideal opportunity for a bass change. This is done with 'Burnin up' just about to kick into action.
The "dub" is played so the emphasis does not lie on the vocal but on the ever dramatic devastation caused by Dino. The cut off of the bass changes the appearance of the track slightly to then re-enter the pounding bassline once more.
Faza is soon brought in. Its clicky highs, peak over the top of 'burnin up'. The mix flows in minimal fashion until Faza sweeps out the bass of 'burnin up'. Commanding the scene. A chilling synth flows in the background occasionally coming through to edge out the highs and the deep rumble from the bass. Faza has a very "intimate" breakdown, with what can only be described as "heavy panting". It ebbs with true progressive style, with minimal sounds -but they collaborate well.
Strong Rhythm throws its vocals on top of faza building up steam. Surely it enters with pure menace. Adding a deep tribal 'growl' Faza is wiped out altogether. Strong Rhythm has been played it some great tribal sets and it fits perfectly into this set by Brian. It steps the flow up another level although on the same bpm. Echoing vocals comprise the main body of the track, dropping for the breakdown in which a cold effect punches the vocal deeper. Coming almost to a stand still it re-enters the bass to pull back all the atmosphere it went out with. The familiar drums of 'wish you were here' haunt to fix itself in the bassline of Strong Rhythm. A nice bass change ups the track once more leading it to a more soulful vibe. Creamer and K stamp their trade mark all over this track combining some cool tribal drums with some very warming female vocals. Their style fits in with the whole atmosphere Brian Stillwater portrays in his productions and this set. 'Panic System' is next in line to be mixed. It begins well as the tracks are similar in style. Both holding a dark tribal appeal. Moshic lays down a slight eastern vibe to his productions. This is shown when in the mix. The male vocal chants to give a smooth entry for the new bassline to roll. The set is continually building up a purpose, driving deeper and deeper. 'Panic System' is a perfect mid set track as it gets you caught in the journey. It is minimal and fairly simple but it holds a busy bassline, with it shuffling through the riffs. The track holds the drive as moshic and zidan's '2 loose a track' appears with a slightly heavier bassline. It is more commanding than 'Panic System' but is of similar substance. The mix is faultless as the bass dies to leave you with a trademark effect that we have heard so often! The track picks up steam scurrying to the main body of the track. The breakdown is upon you in no time. A female vocal whispers some distorted vocals. A moody undercurrent brings out the high hats to make the build intense enough to kick out the bassline. A promo rui da silva track fills out the high hats to give evidence of a mix. It becomes intense taking over the mid with its howling presence. The track holds another male vocal which is effected with echo and distortion to the full. The track has left the deep tribal feel for a more uplifting tempo in comparison. A superb vocal is vocoded and added to a nice synth to create a real peak time feel! it flows combining female vocals also-making it feel as though people are just having a conversation over the track, rather than it being a dominent figure. The track drops for the close leaving the unmistakable and probably most sought after track of the minute-'You are sleeping' to flow straight into the number one spot. The drum pattern is amazing on this track. It finishes every phrase with a quality double of of drums. Swirling background effects edge the bassline out slightly. "you are sleeping" repeated over all gives you a taster of the most famous vocal of our time. Finally it arrives. Telling a story of one mans misfortune with a prostitute takes the edge of the seriousness of the actual situation that could bring. The sample ends bringing in the finale: 'The Roma Ep' straight away after a few phrases. The Ep has virtually the same drum pattern of PQM and really flows with it. The Roma EP is absolute quality, it is only played for a short period of time though ending on a vibrant note fading to a tough male vocal.

This cd is absolute quality. It takes you on a journey through the deep and the tribal. It pushes out Brian's production feel to a tee. Trapping you in a journey it contrasts male and female vocals well leaving you interested at all times. It gains momentum through the set dropping you deep and then bringing you back up the leave you with a nice energetic feel!... great cd! hope it sees a release!
