© Binary FinaryThe first edition was pure simple brilliance, four classic trance records on one Vinyl. Binary Finary’s Timeless series funded by the fans will be getting a second edition and once again needs your support to make it happen…

You don’t need me to tell you that there is a demand for Vinyl now like ever before especially within the trance community. The cost of putting one out these days is quite significant which has led to a lot of self funded campaigns to source the funded before even a tune gets pressed.

Trance legends Binary Finary are a just one of a few who did this very successfully with their ‘Timeless’ release featuring four classic trance tracks from Three Drives, Energy 52, Saltwater and Alantis Vs. Avatar. The aim for the campaign was to hit the limit needed to get the release to go ahead, which the guys did with ease and this past week been shipping out the first volume to those who funded the project.

The success of the first has led to the second with another four classic tracks on show over the one Vinyl release. The four tracks in question for the second edition are:

Lost Tribe - Gamemaster (Original Mix)
Travel - Bulgarian (Binary Finary Remix)
Jon Vesta - Gull (Original Mix)
Flutlicht - Icarus (Original Daedalus Mix)

Matt Darey / Lost Tribe - Gamemaster, Matt's had so many amazing tracks and remixes, this must be one of the most well known, loved and iconic tracks of his and so it's fitting with his involvement with the Classic Trance Group that we have this as our first track. It was a real struggle to decide what version to go for, but it just had to be the Original Mix, and wow how good it is going to sound on this piece of vinyl!

The Travel - Bulgarian (Binary Finary Remix) is the only time it's been pressed onto vinyl and also unliklely to appear on vinyl again. This remix has been a main stay in the Binary Finary sonic arsenal for sets over the last few years and it's really great to have this on Timeless Vol 2.

It has been a personal goal to search and find out who had the rights to Jon Vesta - Gull. It took a while and a lot of digging, but that goal was realised and we are extremely proud to have this fabulous track on this record. It has been 20 odd years since this masterpiece last appeared on a compilation, let alone a piece of vinyl. In fact, after the licensing was agreed, the masters weren't able to be located in Jon's writing partner, Lee Milleare's loft, where his studio had been packed away some 20 years previously. Luckily a master was found so this stunning track can once again be pressed onto a piece of vinyl to be played. As you may know,  sadly, John Horrocks is no longer with us, but his obvious talent, skill and musical genius is still around today and the beautiful emotive melodies will sing out again on this piece of plastic.

Flutlicht, whatever these talented Swedish producers touch is just gold, and when the time came to choose the 4th track (previously this was a tough one on Vol 1), it was just obvious this was the track to close out this volume of fantastic tracks. Licensing this track was a doddle compared to Vol 1 and what a track!

There are only a few days left to put your helping hands to the project which you can do right here on the Indiegogo site. There is 20% at the moment for every new funder so why not get involved and have for trance classics in the vinyl collection, that’s if you don’t already. Even if you do, I’d still get this!
