 One of the longest running club nights and compilation series run by Trance icon Talla 2XLC is celebrating 25 years in 2023 and to mark this occasion there will be a very special 4 disc mix compilation…
If you have been around the trance music scene for the past few decades you won’t need me to tell you who Talla 2XLC and Technoclub are. Over the years Tall has hosted some of the biggest club nights in Germany and hosted the sounds of some of the finest trance talents there is. There is nothing like it quite live but the next best thing will be his mix compilation series which captures the sound from those club nights and spreads it over two beautiful mixes.
The Technoclub series is now onto its 67th edition and has its first release all the way back in 1997. I would say that makes it one of the longest running mix compilation series there is. The mix series has had just about every top line artist you can think of to provide the beats alongside Talla. The latest edition had Ralphie B on the mix and included a collector’s pin. Previous editions have also had some special items thrown in with one I can remember featuring a Talla 2XLC memory stick. I remember that because I’ve got that one in the archive.
For a series with such a history and hitting 25 years old the next edition is a very special one. This monster of a release features 4 CD’s with over 45 tracks and mixed together by Talla 2XLC alongside his fellow club night residents LXD and Bluefire. You can expect to hear the sounds of Taucher, Kai Tracid, Tom Wax, Scot Project, Cosmic Gate, Aly & Fila, Jerome Isma-Ae, Alex M.o.r.p.h., Woody van Eyden, Markus Schulz, Allen Watts, and the latest Ralphie B during the course of these four mixes.
It’s the biggest edition of this legendary series to date and most certainly not the last.
