Jade releases his latest production on the legendary Method label, following in similar fashion to 'A Day In The Life...'. Jade merges his tribalesque style with that of an eastern feel once more to produce a track which will surely be massive!
A: Decon's Raining in Clubland Mix AA1: Jade's Bruce Lee Vox AA2: Jade's Love To Kristina Mix
A: Decon's Raining in Clubland Mix The tracks begins with a pounding 4/4. There is a gentle atmospheric vibe whistling through the background. Sharp sounding symbols/bells add on the track giving it a bit more lift. An howling effect is introduced to bulk up the track just before a mini break to hit in with the main body. An extra effect, almost like a 'wah' swirls around only to come to a hault. Underlying currents make the track sound epic and tension rises. The basslines storms back in giving the track a nice chugging/epic feel. The momentum is maintained through the middle section of the track. It repeats phrases but to great effect-because it has you trapped in the journey. It drops for the main break. An eastern vibe enters, violinesque, like that of 'A Day In The Life..' ... whisping through the track cutting up the atmospheric feel. As it becomes emotive the eastern vibe repeats and builds to a crescendo-leaving the bassline to make way. An extra effect is used to lie over the bass-and is used to great affect! .. the track then rolls on to a close in usual 4/4 fashion.
AA1: Jade's Bruce Lee Vox A melody start is preferred on this, holding the tribalesque percussion with an increased tempo. A little moody undercurrent is formed tinted with the eastern vibe paving a path for the bassline to enter. The track races to the first break. Creating an atmosphere with effects-an echoing vox appears contrasting to deliver a forceful message. An increase in sound warps the vox to a mini drum roll. The bassline returns pounding its way through the 3/4 section of the track. A change in effect commands to the penultimate break. Shuffling highs emerge edging to track to run to its close.
AA2: Jade's Love For Kristina Mix This track is pure melody. All the effects that have gone before combine to create spacey/atmospheric affair. It combines the typical elements: rain and thunder along with a chant to raise the tension. A deep rumbling undercurrent is persistant is destroying the ambient feel.
TEST PRESS: "This is the follow up to Jade's 'A Day In The Life..' and is kinda the second part of the story! Jade's Bruce Lee Vox is a roller coaster ride through china town house! Big beats, even bigger chords & clever use of some nice vocal hooks. This mix was only around on a few CDR's in Miami and has already received stong support, it was also used on Parks and Wilsons 'Painting On Silence' CD. Jade's Love For Kristina mix is a unique short and lush string pad arrangement perfect for opening and closing your sets.
On the flip Decon gives us his 'Raining In Clubland' remix. Straight outta Atlanta, USA - Decon is Michael Andrew, new boy on the block who's destined for big things- He gets right down to it and provides a relentless groove of tough beats and melodic lines, this drops to the main line from Jade's original and things get really interesting!- top nothc production all the way. USE AND ABUSE AT WILL!!"
Many thanks to Keith@method for supplying the track.
