Steve Gibbs, the creator of "Night Stalker" as Altitude on UK Bonzai, which featured on Paul Oakenfold's "Travelling" and Dave Pearce's "Euphoria", returns with the follow up to "Azure" on Five AM. He also releases under the name Steve Gibbs on EVE Records.
A. Original Mix
This mix starts off very ambient. Nice chilling sounds, and the very relaxing main synth. After about 2 minutes the beat comes in. After another minute of mind relaxation the tune gets a bit more melodic. A nice breakbeat builds up, and all the parts in this mix come together in a mindblowing sequence of chill synths. The track ends with a nice breakbeat. After listening to this you'll feel all warm inside :)
AA. Praha Mix
This mix gives the track a progressive feeling. The beat has nice bongo's/conga's in it. The large amount of FX in this tune makes it driving. After 2 minutes of nice progressive beats the main synth comes in. The climax is very nice, it makes the mix complete. Near the end some tribal sounding panflutes come in. Personally I prefer this mix above the original.
If you like progressive tracks with an ambient feeling to it, this is your choon!
