Biography:
Born on the 17th of April 1966, he was already bouncing to the rythm of
famous songs in his cradle. At the age of six he built an organ with Daddies
help, but realized very soon that you could do a lot more with a
synthesizer. With the help of generous grandparents and parents , who
believed in the ambition of their grand-/son, a real homestudio developed.
Aged 16 Serge started as a DJ with a mobile show. Very soon he was playing
records in big clubs like Highstreet, Carre, Reflex,etc... In time Serge
eased off the DJ circuit to concentrate his energy on composing, lyric
writing and producing.

Biggest successes:

1988
Confetti's, the number 1 of the New-beat generation. This popular dance-act
lasted for 3 years and each successor became one of the best selling records
in almost every European country.

1989
Rocco Granata askes Serge to 'dress up the song Marina in a new outfit'...
The subsequent New-beat version of "Marina" helped relive its former
international success.

1990
Cartouche, this solo-project was not only a European hit but also gained a
billboard notation (number 61) in America.

1991
The production of "My day will come" immediately gave the Dinky Toys their
first hit.

1993
The remix of Freddie Mercury's "Living on my own " enjoyed success
throughout Europe remaining at number 1 for several weeks across the charts.

1997
T-spoon, who had been successful for a number of years in the Netherlands,
break through internationally with the hit-song "Sex on the beach".

1998
Thanks to the number 1 position in Ireland, T-spoon are getting ready for an
international break-through with "Sex on the beach". The rumour spreads that
the group could match the popularity and quality of the Spice Girls.

September 1998: In the UK " Sex on the beach" enters the charts in second
place behind "Millenium" of Robbie WIlliams. The record stays in the charts
for 9 weeks.
In the Indy-charts (independant record labels) the song is number 1 for 6
weeks. Additionally T-spoons follow up "Tom's party" enters the British
charts.

1999
The worldtour of "Sex on the beach" continues, number 7 in Australia and
number 6 in New-Zealand N° 1 in Japan, for several weeks…..

2001
‘You and Me’ from Orion Too was born, it was no big success until it became big in Spain.

2002 Orion Too knows a big international success story…
